Luxury chain hotel with the best beach in Rethymno

A luxury hotel from a well-known Greek chain, offering what many consider to be the best beach in Rethymno. We visited on an informational tour and were slightly unlucky with the weather, so the photos don’t fully capture its appeal.

Location & Beach

First line property with a 300-meter stretch of beach — the longest in the Rethymno area.

The beach is wide and sandy, equipped with free sun loungers and umbrellas.

There are pebbles at the water’s edge, but no stones or concrete slabs, so overall the sea entrance is good.

Grounds & Atmosphere

The hotel’s territory is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained.

However, it does feel somewhat dated in places — regular guests of this chain might expect a bit more sparkle.

Still, the classic white buildings and bungalows, accented by lush greenery, look fresh and stylish.

Service & Check-In

Service is on a high level. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival.

Online check-in is available, and the hotel has an app for reserving à la carte restaurants and staying informed about perks and activities.

Due to high demand, it’s advisable to book à la carte restaurants 7–10 days before arrival, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion and want a guaranteed spot.

Dining & Meal Plans

Multiple options: BB (Bed & Breakfast), HB (Half Board), and the hotel’s own version of All-Inclusive, called Comfort All-In.

Comfort All-In includes full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner), drinks at the bars, snacks throughout the day, and if staying 7+ nights — a free visit to certain specialty restaurants like Barbarossa or Golden Dragon. Other à la carte venues are available at an additional cost (discounted for Comfort All-In guests).

Overall Impression

An excellent option for demanding travelers, provided they understand the meal plan details and know what is and isn’t included.

Ideal for those seeking a great beach and quality service, but be aware the property is not brand new, and some areas reflect its age.
